Okka Disk (Chicago, U.S.A.)
Formed in 1993/4 by Bruno Johnson, Okka Disk's catalogue of more than
20 CDs is built broadly around the Chicago free scene and European free
improvisation, the latter featuring Peter Brötzmann, Mats Gustafsson,
Georg Gräwe (in an excellent duo with Anthony Braxton) and, something
that the label is no doubt proud of, the first 'all tenor' solo recording
by Evan Parker.
